Using AirPlay with Maka

Before you begin

AirPlay sends what's playing in Maka to a larger screen, so your child can watch while your phone or iPad stays free for you. You'll need your device and the screen you're streaming to connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Streaming Maka to a larger screen

1. Open Maka and start playing a video.
2. Choose AirPlay (yellow button) and select your screen.

Your device stays yours

Once AirPlay is running, your phone or iPad is free to use however you need. You can switch to another app, answer a message, make a call, or lock your device, and playback on the larger screen will keep going. You may notice a brief pause between videos, typically no longer than three seconds.

If the stream stops

If playback stops unexpectedly, check that your device and screen are still on the same Wi-Fi network, then start AirPlay again from Maka.
