Navigating the app as a parent

Learn how to access your parent dashboard, what you'll find there, and how the child view is kept separate from your caregiver controls.

Signing back in

If you've enabled Face ID or Touch ID on your device, you can use it to sign back in quickly each time you open Maka Kids. If you haven't set up biometric sign-in, or you've signed out, you'll sign in using a verification code sent to your email.

Note: Biometric access is tied to your device. If you sign in on a new device, you may be prompted to set up biometric access again.

Your parent dashboard

Once signed in, you'll land on your parent dashboard. This is your home base for managing everything in the app. From here you can:

  1. View and edit your child's profile
  2. Adjust session viewing time
  3. Add a new child profile
  4. Access your account and subscription settings

The child view

When your child is using Maka Kids, they see their personalized content. Parent controls and account settings are protected — reaching these areas requires verification, so your child can't access your settings or make changes on their own.

Your parent controls stay protected by your biometric or email verification. Only you can access them.

Note: Only one account per subscription is supported at this time. The ability to add a partner is planned for a future update.
