Creating your parent account

Before you begin

To create your account, you'll need one of the following:

1. An email address you have access to
2. A Google account
3. An Apple account

The option you choose will become your login method going forward.

Step 1: Start your account

Open the Maka Kids app and tap Get Started. On the next screen, choose how you'd like to sign in — with your email, Google, or Apple account.If you sign in with email, check your inbox for a 6-digit verification code and enter it in the app to continue.

Step 2: Complete your parent profile

You will be asked to enter a few details to set up your parent profile. Fill in each field and tap Continue to move to the next screen.

Step 3: Set up biometric access

Once your profile is complete, you'll be prompted to set up biometric access for your parent account. You can use Face ID or Touch ID for quick, secure sign-in, or skip setting up biometric access. Your year of birth is used as a backup method to access your parent zone if biometrics are unavailable.

Note: Biometric access is for parents only. Your child does not need to set anything up to start watching.
