Managing your subscription

Where your subscription lives, how to change or cancel it, and how billing is handled through Apple.

Maka currently offers a monthly and a yearly plan. Your subscription is billed through the App Store, not directly by us.

Where to find it

In the parent area, go to Settings → Subscription. You'll see your current plan, renewal date, and a link to manage it.

Changing or canceling

Your plan is handled by Apple:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Tap SubscriptionsMaka Kids.
  4. Change the plan or cancel from there.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then.

What happens if a charge fails

Apple will retry the charge and may email you. During the grace period, Maka continues to work. If the charge still fails, your subscription lapses and the kid-facing features are paused. Channels and profile data remain saved — resubscribe any time to pick up where you left off.

Refunds

Because charges go through Apple, refunds are handled there too. Apple's refund request typically resolves in minutes to hours. If you believe you were charged in error, email us at support@makamedia.co and we'll follow up.
