What we collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate and improve the Maka Kids experience. This includes:

• A parent or caregiver email address, used to create and manage the account
• A child's first name or nickname
• The child's age range that best fits the child as selected and determined by the parent / caregiver
• Basic device information such as device type, operating system, and app version
• App activity such as which videos are watched and how the app is used

We do not collect a child's full name, address, or contact information.

How we use it

The information we collect is used to personalize your child's viewing experience, improve the app, and ensure content is developmentally appropriate for their age range. We do not sell data to third parties or use it for advertising purposes.

No advertising to children: Maka Kids does not serve advertisements to children in the app. Our content experience is ad-free.

How we follow COPPA

Because Maka Kids is designed for children under 13, we follow the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). This means:

• Caregivers must provide consent before any child data is collected
• Caregivers can review, manage, or request deletion of their child's information at any time
• Children cannot publicly share personal information or communicate with other users in the app

Your rights as a parent or caregiver

You are in control of your child's information. You can request to review or delete any information associated with your child's use of Maka Kids at any time by contacting us at support@makamedia.co.
